Since its debut on October 1st, 1907, The Plaza Hotel has remained a New York icon hosting world leaders, dignitaries, captains of industry, Broadway legends and Hollywood royalty.  As an established staple for lavish society affairs, and blockbuster films, The Plaza has welcomed guests from around the world to enjoy its magic at the castle on Central Park South for more than 100 years.

Whether it’s a black-tie gala or an intimate anniversary celebration, The iconic Plaza Hotel New-york has been setting the stage for luminous social events for more than 100 years. Imagine a sophisticated terrace with skyline views and twinkling lights. Greet your guests under a glittering chandelier in a grand ballroom.  The fabled hotel has been the setting for hundreds of lavish events, including Truman Capote’s 1966 “Black and White Ball” to honor Washington Post publisher, Kay Graham. Capote said he chose The Plaza “because it has the only beautiful ballroom left in New York.” Other illustrious galas and events include countless movie premieres and Mick Jagger’s 50th birthday party in 1993. The spacious Grand Ballroom located on the third floor can seat 500 guests for a dinner and 1,000 guests for a cocktail-style reception.

SUMPTUOUS WEDDING RECOMMENDATION

Wedding packages for a Saturday evening starting at $375/person with a minimum of 200 guests. Friday and Sunday packages start at $350/person with a minimum of 150 guests. There is a $12,000 rental fee for the Terrace Room OR Grand Ballroom.  The ceremony can be held in either room as well but must be in the room you are renting. You must use The Plaza Vendors for all Food/Beverage and their exclusive Sound & Lighting vendor, but you may bring in your choice of other vendors, such as your florist or wedding planner.
