LE Petit Palais de Paris is an art museum in the 8th arrondissement of the city. It is located across from the Grand Palais where the most incredible fashion show, & sports events are being hosted. The Petit Palais has a slightly more intimate feel, however, the height of the roof is what makes it so impressive. Built for the 1900 Exposition Universelle, it now houses the City of Paris Museum of Fine Arts. It has been listed since 1975 as a monument historique by the French Ministry of Culture. The exterior of the pavilions is embellished with arched windows from the side around to the rear façades.  The courtyard is considered Beaux-Arts style because of the symmetrical composition. Although it is in the central part of the Petit Palais, one of the main structures of the Exhibition, its purpose was to provide visitors with a relaxing space apart from the busy Exposition.

The facade is what makes the venue so incredible. Think about adding hundred of candles all the way up and lighting the facade with beautiful colors and your monogram. The venue has a little acoustics issue because of the height of the building. I would recommend investing in a very good sound system, and also consider hosting the dancing part in the courtyard, as it is not possible to dance inside, to avoid vibration for the art pieces when playing music.  Remember that there are only a few private events taking place at the Petit Palais, you will certainly feel special if you host your destination wedding there!
