It was originally a monastery in the 19th Century. Villa Erba was the summer residence of the notorious  film director Luchino Visconti.  At the end of 1900, the Villa Erba was sold to a company specialized in organizing conventions. Over the years, the villa got  embellished with a grand entrance hall and a panoramic tower.  From the main historical building, to the  huge greenhouses and botanical park, it has became the ultimate reference for Lake Como wedding.

Symbolic wedding ceremonies can be organized outdoors on the lawn by the lakeside. Although the Villa Erba doesn’t offer accommodation on site, there are plenty of hotels around the Lake Como.
